During these times of sheltering in place and personal and economic uncertainty – it is easy to feel helpless. How do I know that I won’t be accidentally exposed when I go to purchase groceries? Will I have income during these times? Will I have income afterwards? What is the best way I can help people less fortunate?
I don’t have a prescriptive answer. Except that the best way is to do what you can. What or who is in your neighborhood, on your radar that might benefit from assistance right now? And which of those needs are you in a position to meet. No matter how small. It is always better to do a little something than to do nothing at all.
We are defined by our actions in challenging times. Let us all, in our own ways, rise.
Stay healthy, be safe, help others, be well.
